Or better still point me in the direction of a place in the NW (Cheshire) who can diagnose it properly and just won't throw expensive bits at it.Īs you quite rightly suggest DO NOT CONNECT AN OHMMETER ACROSS IT! So to cut to it, can anyone offer any advice on testing the bag module itself ( I carry it around wearing goggles like it is a hand grenade and don't want to connect a ohm meter across the termnials in case it goes boom )? I've pfaffed around tonight and ruled all of those out by disconnecting them and triggering the fault off each. They came back and said it was probably a fault on the pre-tensioners. I took it for an MOT today knowing it would fail but as the MOT place was an authorised accident repair shop I asked them do plug it into their system. I've buzzed the wiring through and it is all ok through the spiral contact so I think it could be the airbag itself. The scanner is telling me it is driver airbag stage 2 fault. ![]() I don't normally frequent this part of the forum but need a bit of advice re: airbag fault on my DD.
